WHERE DO I GO?

         - AWANA is held in the Children's Building located in the old church building directly behind CBC's marque sign.


WHAT TIME IS IT HELD?

         - AWANA is held from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday Nights. 


WHAT IS THE AGE RANGE?

         - AWANA serves children from first to fifth grade.


HOW DO I SIGN MY CHILDREN UP?

         - Signing up for AWANA is simple! Bring your children Wednesday night and then just fill out an info form while you are there to drop them off. That way you have the opportunity to ask our leaders any questions you may have or voice any concerns!


WHAT DO THE KIDS DO?

         - Kids are recognized and rewarded for reciting Bible verses they have memorized, play fun challenging games, and learn awesome Bible Stories!


HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED?

          - We need listeners to hear the children recite their Bible verses! If you are interested please see Gwenda Trapp or Susan Cranmer for more details!

AWANA Coordinator, Diana Wright

Diana has been working with children for almost 40 years. She says that serving the Lord by working with children has been God’s call on her life. She believes teaching children to love and serve the Lord is a special blessing.


Diana has worked as a certified professional educator in both Christian and public schools. She has also previously served on church staffs working with preschoolers, children and youth. She earned her BS in Early Childhood Education from West Georgia College in 1981 and her masters in Religious Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1985.
